Less than 10 km from the downtown core and adjacent to the highway, the Airport is a connecting point for both air travelers and those traveling by road or sea.
The Airport Authority manages over 1,550 acres of land on which the Airport Terminal Building and the airfield are situated. Included in this total land mass is 300 acres of land that is available for development. This land is easily accessible, located with both airside and groundside access, and is zoned commercial/light industrial.
